Last week’s menu…it never happened. As a matter of fact, I barely got out of bed. That little “break” I took for feeling under the weather, well, I was in bed for days, and my diet consisted or green tea, cough medicine, hot water, lemon and honey, and banana bread that lasted me for the whole week.
Thankfully, I am finally feeling much better…the cough is still present, and knowing me, it won’t be going away any time soon. For some reason any time I start coughing, the cough lingers forever. But at least I am finally feeling like myself. And that only means one thing…the weekly menu!
In the fauxfoodie girls’ sunday tradition, Kiki and I woke up this morning, shared our “coffee” [coffee for me, milk for her] in bed and planned the weekly menu. There is a lot going on this week, but we all know I won’t be missing a meal now that I am feeling better, especially on nights when Kiki is home with me.
So here’s what we came up with:
SUNDAY: chicken parmesan meatballs
MONDAY: Balsamic glazed pork with lentils
TUESDAY: Black bean + avocado + barely
WEDNESDAY: night out on a town
THURSDAY: Chicken orzo salad with goat cheese
FRIDAY: DMB Concert
SATURDAY: “clean out the refrigerator”
