Thanksgiving Holiday Decor and Toddlers

Since we celebrated the first of November yesterday, I definitely have holidays and decorating on my mind. With everything going on this year, now more than ever I am determined to make this holiday season a festive and fun one. I usually skip over Thanksgiving and go right into Christmas but this time around I will take a deep breath and embrace the upcoming season and decorate with the warm colors of the fall. All the yellows, browns, golden greens, reds, mustard – the richness and warmth will add such beautiful accent to my home. It’s time to bring in some new life and create new traditions especially ones involving Lexi. I am trying to think of creative ways to teach her about Thanksgiving, turkey and of course the decorating that goes with it. Any suggestions for involving toddlers, I am all ears and eager to hear your suggestions.

Here are a few things I am thinking of doing this weekend… Kiki and I will be knee deep in decorating.  Thank you Pinterest for feeding in my obsession…if you aren’t already you should follow me, I am obsessed, and you will be too.
