The Lost Recipe for Happiness

I completely got lost in the world of food, restaurants, love, dogs, Aspen and all other great things while reading The Lost Recipe for Happiness…I know, I know, this blog is supposed to be about food, but this really was about love for food and about love (what can I say, I am an ethernal romantic, the food does it). I never even looked at the back of the book to see what the book was about, but rather I was completely taken by the title. I don’t even know how to explain it “the lost recipe of happiness” – such an amazing way to describe something lost, something desired, something so simple, but yet so delicious. It was one of those books that I just couldn’t put down, I was hungry for more as I turned each page. It was one of those books, where characters were with me long after I finished reading it…There was so much to savor in the story of Elena Alvarez, a chef who must free herself from the ghosts of her past in order to secure her future. he Lost Recipe for Happiness tells a great story in a wonderfully engaging manner. Those with a passion for food will drool over the delicious descriptions. With a story of love and recipes, this book has all the right ingredients together to make it a great gift for all the food lovers.
