There are big things happening, at work that is…My mind races 100 miles an hour, 1,000 ideas, 100s of projects and million things to get done. On top of everything, we just moved to an amazing new space with 180 degree view of Miami beaches and the bay. I am almost wondering will I be able to get the work done with such beautiful views ?!? But most importantly, I hired two new people. Interviewing and hiring is easy, but providing proper training and delegating the work will be the hardest.
You see I have a little problem…I always think I am the only one that can get something done better than delegating it to someone else. I have a hard time letting go. I have a hard time sharing. I have a hard time trusting that someone else will get the job done.
I realize one thing – I can’t do it all, all the time. So this time around I will do it right. I will delegate. I will teach. I will trust that the work will be done and that will be as good as if I did it…because after all I taught them. This almost reminds me of parenting.
Now that I have covered the “serious” topic of a day, let’s talk food. I’ve been hungry for a gourmet burger – whatever that is…let’s say something a little different than the usual beef patty, something like this.
This was delicious – lean ground turkey with broccoli, shredded carrots and savory peanut sauce. This burger was crunchy, savory, filling and tasty – so much flavor.
Of course this was chef approved too….quick and healthy. I loved the sweet and savory flavors – loaded with veggies. I also added some baby arugula…just a little more greens…you know for good measure of my daily veggies.
