I have made it to the finish line. The marathon is over. And if you are thinking I've been running, well not so much, unless you consider running from one airport terminal to another. My two month marathon travel has come to an end.
I am not even sure I know which time zone I am in. Let's see...last time I spent some time on this blog was right after we celebrated our birthdays, I went to NYC, and a day later we were on our way to Croatia. We got back from an amazing trip with my family, I worked crazy long hours and a few days later boarded a plane back to Europe, after 10 days of traveling through Italy, I returned home for a day and a half, back to the airport, and flew out to Aspen and now I am finally home - are you tired yet? I am...But I'll tell you one thing - I am really fortunate to have a job that I do and the company I work for, but having this amazing job B.A. [Before Alexis] would have been a completely different experience than it is now - all I could do the whole time I was away is to think about getting back home. Perhaps I missed out on a beauty and some details of the trip, but being with my baby is the most important thing these days. Being with her is all that matters. Oh how priorities have changed....
So here are a few of my favorite photos from the travels....
Catania, Sicily
Feudo Principi di Butera, Sicily
Marema, Tuscany
Villa Merangole, Tuscany
Castello d'Albola, Tuscany
Venice, Italy
Aspen Food and Wine Festival
I am ready to spend some time at home, enjoy the steamy Florida summer days and get back to my routine. For an adventourous person that I am, my gosh do I crave the routine!!!!

I think traveling can be so much fun but when it's over, I feel like OMG i can't believe I just did all that ;) Glad you get to spend some time at home for a while.
