wow, what a week it has been. I always think my days/weeks can't get busier than they are, and than a week like this one happens and I am ready for a vacation. But before I get to that much needed vacation, there is still a lot to get done around here. For example, hire a whole marketing/PR team, set up new office, and do the actual work. One thing I hate the most is interviewing people, it's exhausting!!!!! And what has happened to this generation of graduates!!!! The first thing everyone says when asked what they are looking for a job - "Room to grow"?!?!?! How about "learning and doing my best at the opportunity I am given". So frustrating....
All of this got me wondering, is it the parents that are to be blamed for the generation of "You owe me" "I deserve it" "I want it. I need to have it" and of course it makes me think about myself as a parent. Will I make those mistakes? How do I avoid making those mistakes? How do I raise my child the right way? and what is the right way? I guess I don't have the answers, but as long as I trust my instincts I know I will do the right thing.
So yes, I completely got off track here....what am I thankful this week for....
